Not your average Vandy: what Auburn can expect as the Commodores come to town

For the first time since mid-September, Auburn Football will enter a football Saturday coming off of a win. The Tigers will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores, a team that is synonymous with the basement of SEC football and a squad that Auburn demolished in 2023 in a 31-15 win in Nashville. However, this year’s Vandy squad is a bit different, and the Tigers will need to be careful if they want to avoid an upset.

Auburn falls to Missouri in heartbreaking fashion

Auburn football hit the road this week to take on the 19th-ranked Missouri Tigers. Despite leading for most of the game, Auburn could not hold on late and surrendered a go-ahead touchdown with just 46 seconds remaining. They couldn’t mount a drive in response, and lost the game 21-17.

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn welcomed the eighth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats to Plainsman Park for the first of a three-game weekend series, fresh off the back of a head-scratching midweek loss to Alabama State. Auburn blows out Jacksonville State in run-rule fashion

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn baseball was back home at Plainsman Park for another in-state midweek contest against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Despite falling behind early, the Tigers rallied and secured a win by run rule in seven innings to improve to 16-8 on the season, with Jax State dropping to 9-15.

Auburn looks for another midweek win against Jax State

No. 21 Auburn (15-8) welcomes Jacksonville State (9-14) to Plainsman Park for a midweek matchup, the Tigers’ third-straight midweek contest vs an in-state opponent. Auburn comes into the matchup off the back of its first SEC win on Saturday over Arkansas, though the Tigers still lost the series 2-1.
