AUBURN, Ala. (WEGL 91.1 FM) – Auburn Women’s Basketball played host to the No. 7 Texas Longhorns Thursday on the Plains in a contest that saw the Tigers fall 57-74 to the Longhorns. However, there is reason for optimism in Auburn, largely thanks to the arrival of Chinese star Yuting Deng.
Auburn Volleyball traveled down south this weekend to take on the #22 Florida Gators, the Tigers desperate to snap a six game losing streak. It was not to be, though, as Auburn could not put up a fight and got swept by the Gators.
Auburn Men’s Basketball opened the season in Neville Arena vs Vermont, a game that many labeled as a potential trap game for the 11th-ranked Tigers. However, Auburn came out ready and left no doubt, hammering the Catamounts in a 94-43 beatdown.
Auburn football hosted the Vanderbilt Commodores this week, looking to build momentum following a win over Kentucky the week prior. Unfortunately, the Tigers were able to do no such thing and lost 17-7 in a true disaster of a performance.
For the first time since mid-September, Auburn Football will enter a football Saturday coming off of a win. The Tigers will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores, a team that is synonymous with the basement of SEC football and a squad that Auburn demolished in 2023 in a 31-15 win in Nashville. However, this year’s Vandy squad is a bit different, and the Tigers will need to be careful if they want to avoid an upset.
Auburn football hit the road this week to take on the 19th-ranked Missouri Tigers. Despite leading for most of the game, Auburn could not hold on late and surrendered a go-ahead touchdown with just 46 seconds remaining. They couldn’t mount a drive in response, and lost the game 21-17.

Unfortunately, Auburn’s luck didn’t change as they fell to Kentucky 6-5 in yet another close game.

After many questions through the winter about whether the offense could be improved, the early signs look encouraging, as they defeated the defense 28-27 on a last-second 58-yard field goal from freshman kicker Towns McGough.
AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn baseball was back home at Plainsman Park for another in-state midweek contest against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. Despite falling behind early, the Tigers rallied and secured a win by run rule in seven innings to improve to 16-8 on the season, with Jax State dropping to 9-15.
