Auburn women’s basketball took a tough loss tonight in the Auburn Arena against the No. 7 Mississippi State Bulldogs, 85-59.
The Auburn Women’s Basketball team fell to No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers tonight at home, 78-69. The two teams went neck and neck, tying the score eight times throughout the game.
The No. 8 Auburn Tigers clawed their way to a close victory in overtime, 75-71, against the UAB Blazers Saturday. The basketball match up drew in a large crowd in Birmingham for the Mike Slive Invitational, with almost 16,000 in attendance.
The Auburn Men’s Basketball team crushed the Saint Peter’s Peacocks at home Wednesday night 99-49. The Tigers showed no sign of turning down the heat following their performance at the Maui Invitational tournament last week.
Head coach Bruce Pearl explained in a press conference this Tuesday that his scheduling was strategic to prepare for tough competition in Maui. “Scheduling is a vital part of trying to build your resume,” Pearl said.
Auburn guards Bryce Brown and Jared Harper were named Preseason All-SEC by league coaches Tuesday.
The Auburn men’s basketball team took on Lincoln Memorial University in this season’s exhibition game on Friday, November 2. The Tiger student section packed in to cheer on their No. 11 ranked team at home.
