She’s a Keeper! | SEC Honors and Standings

The SEC announced Monday their weekly honors and for a second straight week, Freshman Maddie Prohaska took home defensive player of the week. Pitching four shutouts in her last five games, Prohaska leads the conference in save percentage (.842) and goals against average (0.82). The Tigers are 7-5-3 this season with just three games remaining on their regular season Spring slate before the NCAA Tournament beginning Apr 23.

Auburn baseball went on the road to Oxford, Mississippi with a chance to make an early statement in the SEC race against the fourth ranked Rebels.  However, Ole Miss walked away victorious after a three game sweep over the Tigers.

Auburn Softball Near Perfect Heading into SEC Play

After a near perfect first month of the season, a ranked (#22) Auburn Tigers team heads into the weekend for their first conference series of the season. Unblemished at home, in-state rival and the fourth ranked Alabama looks to hand Auburn their first loss at Jane B. Moore Field in 2021. Riding an 11-game winning streak, the Tigers have been led by dominate Freshman pitching performances and clutch hitting. Friday does not mark the end of non-conference play but does the beginning of SEC competition.
