Thursday’s match between the Tigers and Hornets is set to begin at 7 p.m. CST. The match will be the Tigers’ first inside Neville Arena and will also be broadcasted live on WEGL 91.1 FM and on weglfm.com, in conjunction with the Auburn Sports Network.

The Tigers look to begin their quest to Cary, NC as they kick off the season on Thursday August 18 vs the Old Dominion Monarchs at 6:30 pm at the Auburn Soccer Complex and live on weglfm.com.
The NCAA selected Auburn to host a regional in the 2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Florida State Seminoles, UCLA Bruins and Southeast Louisiana Lions also were selected to compete in the Auburn Regional.
Losing the series means that Auburn will be playing Kentucky, again as the fifth seed in the First round of the SEC Tournament in Hoover. The winner of which will play LSU. "I could not stress anymore about trying to play a game up there with so many fans there and being so close to Auburn," head coach Butch Thompson said. "We need to put our best foot forward to win the first game and enter the double elimination portion of the tournament next week."
The Tigers have finished the season 12-1 in midweek games and 21-5 in non-conference play.
Auburn will be back in action on Tuesday night as they travel up to Hoover, AL to take on the Samford Bulldogs. Then they travel up to Lexington. KY to take on the Kentucky Wildcats for the final three games of the 2022 regular season.
After losing a series to No. 3 Arkansas, the No. 20 Auburn Tigers (33-16) (13-11 SEC) traveled down to Riddle-Pace Field to gain some momentum against the Troy Trojans (29-18) (13-11 Sun Belt). The Tigers rode a fast start, and electric bats from the whole team to win 11-4.
“It was encouraging to see the relief performance from Shelby Lowe," Auburn head coach Mickey Dean. “The efforts from Sam Yarbrough and Aspyn Godwin in the seventh inning on their senior day brought tears to my eyes.”
“Credit to our guys who didn't blink after Friday and pushed this series all the way to late Sunday to give us a chance to win,” said Auburn head coach Butch Thompson.
The Tigers will be looking to carry the seven-game win streak momentum into their toughest challenge yet, the No. 1 team in the nation in Rocky Top.
The Auburn Tigers will go on to play there last midweek game against Alabama State on Wednesday April 27, in Montgomery at 5 p.m. before wrapping up the season with two SEC Series in Georgia, and Tennessee, as the Tigers will look to gain momentum for the SEC Tournament which starts on May 10.
