Broome and Williams lead Auburn to Iron Bowl Victory

Just two weeks ago, a top-ten Auburn team went to Tuscaloosa looking to knock off their arch rival. Instead, they found themselves down 14 points at halftime and fighting to make it a game. They found success in the second half, but in the end, they came up just short against the Tide. Now, the two will face off again, this time in Neville Arena, and according to Auburn star forward Johni Broome, “it’s personal.”
Auburn (14-8, 3-6) fell to Arkansas (17-7, 5-4) in Fayetteville on Saturday evening. The Tigers went to Fayetteville, still looking for their first road conference win. The start was as good as they could have hoped for, but the Razorbacks found their rhythm in the second half to comeback and take down the Tigers.

Tonight Auburn hosted its first-ever Quad Meet and put on a fantastic show from start to finish on all four events. The energy and atmosphere was electric, and it certainly helped fuel Auburn’s performance throughout the Meet.
Groundhog’s Day brings about a special meet for Auburn Gymnastics since this will be the first time Auburn has ever hosted a Quad meet in Neville Arena. The Groundhog’s Day Gymnastics meet will be between the Auburn Tigers, Temple Owls, Fisk Bulldogs, and Talladega Tornadoes, with the Tornadoes being in their inaugural season for women’s gymnastics.
The Auburn Tigers (14-7, 3-5) opened the month of February by hosting the #1 South Carolina Gamecocks (20-0, 8-0) inside Neville Arena for a game that was a tale of two halves. Even though the final score was 76-54, it does not mean that Auburn did not play well, and the game was not in contention from the start. The first half was extremely competitive, and Auburn was keeping up with the number-one team in the country.
As Black History Month kicks off, the Auburn Tigers (14-6, 3-4) take on the #1 South Carolina Gamecocks (19-0, 7-0) inside of Neville Arena. For the Tigers, this game comes with some program significance if Auburn emerges victorious. In terms of overall record, a win would guarantee Auburn a winning regular season record, 12 home game wins, and secure a four-game SEC winning streak for the first time in 10 years.

On Friday night, the No. 13 Auburn gymnastics team faced a formidable challenge against host No. 4 Arkansas at Barnhill Arena. Despite a commendable score of 196.675, Auburn fell short against the Razorbacks, who finished with an impressive 197.225.
No. 8 Auburn (16-3, 5-1) will face Mississippi State (13-6, 2-4) in Starkville on Saturday afternoon. Both teams are coming off a road loss, Mississippi State to Florida and Auburn to Alabama. They will both look to get back in the win column on Saturday.
