MRI is an album written by the artist VC Pines about his experiences with epilepsy and synesthesia. In May 2023, VC released "Colours" as a single. "Colours" is a big theme for this album, as the artist mentioned that due to his experiences he now visualizes sounds as colors. Shortly after this release, "Dangling" and "Running" were also dropped as singles. The genre of this music style is difficult to pinpoint but could be described as some type of electro indie pop.

The final day of IMF 2023 began with the sun promising a warm and dry day as it rose over the Georgia horizon. Do you prefer a morning yoga class or party games to start your day? Imaginers can take their pick thanks to the different areas around the campgrounds. At Shakedown Street East we played cup pong, corn hole and the inflatable games as we waited for the gates to open. It even featured a small stage with an accompanying dance performer to keep the music going.

Saturday in Kingstown Downs, Georgia called for lots of rain. Although Imaginers waited in their camps until late afternoon for the sun to come out, you could hear the eager fans blasting EDM from their speakers getting excited for the packed day two. Once the gates opened for the day and people poured in we could all feel the love. For a festival of this size, the crowd was not overwhelming. I met wonderful people— strangers who will gladly dance with you and share their positive past experiences seeing the upcoming artists.

Kingston Downs opened their gates on a warm September day in Georgia to ravers and music lovers from all across the country. We set up camp and greeted our friendly neighbors all eager for the weekend to begin. Festival-goers adorned in vibrant outfits flooded the venue, eager to dive into a world of music, art, and unity. The security line into the grounds were very efficient in my experience, and the security personnel was welcoming. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the stages came to life, casting a mesmerizing glow across the festival grounds. The grounds had an increased amount of art installations compared to last year, yet they thankfully brought back the gigantic fire blowing elephant (which really comes in handy if you get cold at night). Friday started out STRONG— NBA basketball star strong— with Diesel AKA Shaquille O’Neal.
