Oklahoma-born roots rocker JD McPherson brought his crack band and a loose vibe to Waverly, Alabama on Feburary 25th. Playing the Little House at Standard Deluxe, McPherson said they were going to play some stuff they don’t normally play because “you’ve got this incredible place.” The band delivered an inspired mix of originals and covers, including his most well-known songs like “North Side Gal” off his debut album Signs & Signifiers, “Bossy,” “Lucky Penny” and “Head Over Heels.”

Auburn, AL– After the Senior Night celebrations concluded it was straight to business for the Tigers (18-10, 7-8). Auburn, who was on the most unstable of bubbles, hosted the Mississippi State Bulldogs (20-10, 7-8) who came into this one a highly touted projected nine seed for the big dance. Auburn came out firing and took down the Bulldogs to give a huge boost to their resume heading into the final game of the regular season.

KNOXVILLE, TN – No. 11 Auburn (21-7,10-5) visited Rocky Top, the home of the Tennessee Volunteers (22-6, 12-3), who came into Wednesday's night clash ranked No. 4 in the country. The atmosphere did not disappoint and was a huge factor in this game. Auburn, who plays their home games in a arena almost three times smaller than the twenty-one thousand-seat Food City arena reacted well to the big stage, they called their first timeout that really related to the noise late in the second half meaning they got along well before that and even kept their composure after the timeout.
