Top 10 Tiger fight to go down in Neville Arena

AUBURN, Ala. – After a 197.850-197.700 loss to the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide that saw two perfect 10s from Suni Lee, Auburn looks to get back on track against another pack of Tiger.

"I think it's a really good opportunity," Lee said. "We're going against another really good SEC school and I think it just gives us more reason to prove how good of a team we are."

The No. 5 Auburn Tigers (3-4, 1-2 SEC) will take on the No. 9 LSU Tigers (2-4, 2-2 SEC) tomorrow night in Neville Arena at 7:30 p.m. CT.

"It's an exciting time to be a part of all this," head coach Jeff Graba said. "We have a huge SEC match-up coming to town and we can't wait to be with the fans in our own arena. Both teams need a big score so it's going to be a fun night.

"LSU returned quite a few people from last year's squad and are always a great team," Graba added. "They are going to come in ready to go. They're powerful and strong, which means they are going to throw big gymnastics. We have to be ready to counter."

LSU comes into this meet after picking up a 197.700-196.925 win over the No. 17 Georgia Bulldogs at home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana last week.

Haleigh Bryant is LSU's highest scorer on vault this season with a perfect 10 and bars with a 9.950. Bryant and Aleah Finnegan hold the highest score on beam and floor with a 9.950.

"This is going to be the most exciting meet in Neville Arena this year," Auburn sophomore Sophia Groth said. "We're looking forward to the high energy and can't wait to put on a show for the Auburn fans."

Auburn's next contest will take place on February 19, this time against the Missouri Tigers in Columbia, Missouri. The meet is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. CT.
