Auburn, AL - Auburn running backs coach, and former all-American Carnell "Cadillac" Williams has been promoted to interim head coach.
Williams has been on the Auburn coaching staff for the past four seasons. He was also a member of the 2004 team that went undefeated.
Williams played in the NFL for seven seasons and won the rookie of the year award in 2005.
Since joining the staff in 2018, he has helped coach and develop many talented running backs, including JaTarvious "Boobee" Whitlow, Shaun Shivers, Tank Bigsby and Jarquez Hunter.
It was also announced that Brad Larrando, Eric Kiesau, Darren Uscher and Brad Bedell have been relived of their duties.
