Four-star wide receiver prospect Adam Hopkins announced his commitment to Auburn via Twitter this afternoon at 12:08.
"At this moment, I have bonds with all these guys. At the other schools, I just have bonds with a few people and I really don’t know the others… With them, I just have everybody bonding with me. That’s cool. I’ve never had that before.”
Hopkins has a composite 0.9250 rating on 24/7 Sports. He is ranked No. 189 in the class of 2023. He is the No. 24 wide receiver in the class and the No. 17 prospect in Georgia.
Hopkins chose Auburn over other top programs such as Arkansas, Georgia, Texas A&M and Penn State.
In 2021, Hopkins caught 28 passes for 357 yards and two touchdowns for the Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets. Through four games in 2022, he has 10 catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns.
Hopkins is the highest ranked recruit in Auburn's 2023 class to date. He joins four-star wide receiver Daquayvious Sorey as the only other wide receiver in the class at this point.
