The No. 11 Auburn Tigers hosted the Army Black Knights at the Auburn Soccer Complex this afternoon.
The Tigers managed to get back in the win column after drawing in their previous three matches, only scoring one goal during that stretch. That includes their last match against the No. 21 West Virginia Mountaineers which did not consist of a single goal.
Army has gotten off to a rough start in 2022, holding an early record of 1-2-2. Their last match ended in a 1-1 draw with the No. 25 Samford Bulldogs on Thursday night.
M.E. Craven scored the game's only goal on an assist from Anna Haddock at the 28 minute mark of the first half to put the Tigers up 1-0.
In the first half, Auburn took 6 shots, one of them being on-goal. Army took two shots, one of them being on goal. Auburn had one foul called on them, Army had four. Auburn was called off-sides three times, Army was called for it once. Auburn had three corner kicks, Army had none.
The second half did not see much action aside from fouls being called.

Maddie Prohaska finished with two saves and no goals against for Auburn. Army goalkeeper Sage Strohman finished with one save and one goal against.
Auburn will be back in action on Thursday night at 6:30 when they host the UMass Lowell Riverhawks at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
