There is going to be plenty of music to hear all weekend at Moon River, why not let WEGL help you narrow down who to see? From country to indie rock, we've got all of our must-sees in one spot (okay, two spots, we couldn't pick just five).
Check out our picks from Day Two below:
Charley Crockett 8:00pm on the Iris Stage
Harkening back to the days of old, Charley Crockett brings a new look to what was once the past. His low and somber singing paired with tastefully layered instrumentation make for songs straight out of old westerns. If you're into a well written song, Charley is just your man. Metaphorical and charismatic, Charley will often get you hooked in the chorus and break your heart in the verses.
For Fans Of: Colter Wall, Mike and the Moonpies, Sturgill Simpson
Song To Check Out: Welcome To Hard Times
Maggie Rose 12:30 on the Poplar Stage
The voice of r'n'b, the instrumentation of classic country, and the raw power of rock'n'roll makes Maggie Rose a triple threat. But don't get those words twisted, even the broadest definitions put her unique style in a box. Not only will her music wow you, but her stage presence too. Expect her to be one of the rising stars of the festival.
For Fans Of: Brandy Clark, Ashley Monroe, Caitlyn Smith
Song To Check Out: Pull You Through
Wilderado 2:45pm on the Iris Stage
Part of the next generation of indie-rock, Wilderado continues to grow exponentially with every new song and every tour. Touring with massive artists like Mt. Joy and Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Wilderado was sure to make it big. However, their music and performances are really what sold fans. This Oklahoma quintet is sure to knock your socks off.
