Hangout fest makes its triumphant return to Gulf Shores May 20-23 for a highly anticipated congregation of good music, food, and activities three years after the last festival took place in 2019. The 2020 lineup promised performances from Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, Lana Del Ray, RL Grime and more, with the 2021 lineup ceasing to even be revealed to the public over COVID-19 concerns. 2022 festival-goers will be happy to hear that a lot of artists on the coveted 2020 lineup will be returning in May to Gulf Shores for what will be an epic celebration of humanity as we navigate a post-2020 world.
The festival boasts five different ticket tiers to choose from ranging from general admission to the “Big Kahuna” package that promises goers will get to “experience Hangout like a rockstar with unrivaled access to the festival and exclusive amenities personalized to make it the Best.Weekend.Ever!”
Up-and-coming artists such as Flo Milli hailing from Mobile, AL are set to come full-circle as they perform for their hometown crowds and artists having big years such as Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat are ready to kick off the summer for the 40,000+ attendees.
In between sets, festival-goers can take a dip in the ocean or even disco on the roller rink with Hangout’s one-of-a-kind layout. Main stages for the weekend include the Hangout Stage and the Surf Stage which will be home to performances by Post Malone, Fall Out Boy, Halsey, Doja Cat, Tame Impala, Megan the Stallion, and more. This year’s sponsor for the main stages is surf-wear brand, Smkflwr.
