The Brummies return to Atlanta on their "Fall Tour" with special guest Vlad Holiday.
The Nashville by-way-of Birmingham alternative pop/rockers brought an electric performance to Smith's, dancing and partying into the night. Climbing onto the subwoofers, trumpet solos, and funny stage banter kept the crowd fully engaged on their music. Speaking of their music, it is some of the most fun, energetic, and catchy music you'll hear live.
This tour marks the band's first headlining run since the pandemic began. WEGL is certainly a big fan of their return, their first show back was our "Concert on Cater" this past March with the University Program Council. That performance can be found here.
Opening up the show was NYC favorite Vlad Holiday. He's been with The Brummies for this entire tour, a pairing that's certainly got fans excited. Warren (bass) and Trevor (drums) of The Brummies joined Vlad for his set. Vlad joined the band on stage for their encore, where the two played Vlad's song "Phonograph" and The Brummies' "Do It Tomorrow."
An impressive 20 song set went by surprisingly fast. Kicking off the show with a string of songs from Automatic World, the band would do hits "After Midnight" and "Fever Dream" before hitting their 2020 stand alone single "Hillside" (a personal favorite). Fan favorites from their debut, Eternal Reach, also made the cut, including "Norway," a song that hasn't made setlists since it was a single over two years ago. Their full setlist is below;
1. Cherry Blossom
2. After Midnight
3. Sunshine
4. Call Me
5. Fever Dream
