Auburn Soccer able to get dominant win against Kennesaw State

The Auburn Tigers were able to get a dominant win against Kennesaw State last night. Auburn was able to score five goals off great games from five separate players. Only two of those players, Olivia Candelino and Hannah Waesch, played more than 60 minutes of game time. Of those five goals, only one of them came from a non-freshman, that being from veteran player Kori Locksley.

Despite the cold weather from last night Auburn was able to control the game through and through, not allowing one shot on goal the entire game, making the game easier on freshman goalie Maddie Prohaska.

Auburn’s offense was able to keep it on Kennesaw’s side of the field for a lot of the game, attempting 14 shots with eight of them being on goal. That is a striking 63% goal success percentage based off their eight shots on goal. Auburn hopes to be able to pull deep into their rotation bag for upcoming games, with the next one being the 26th versus SEC rival LSU Tigers.
