How did you find out about WEGL?
At the beginning of my first semester, I wanted to get involved in something on campus. I looked on AU Involve and immediately knew I wanted to be a part of what WEGL was doing.
What made you want to apply for your position?
I wanted to find a way where I could be more involved with old members as well as new members. This position is the perfect blend of organization, interaction, and exposure to lots of new music.
Favorite WEGL Memory:
I loved getting to do my first show as a DJ with a new friend of mine. It was a late-night show, so we had lots of coffee and many delusional laughs. Those shows and the music we listened to are things I will never forget.
Favorite Song Lyric:
“Conversations with the devil and he's telling me ‘What's the point in making memories when you can't even find 'em when you're seventy?’ Conversations with my father and he's telling me ‘There's a point in making memories 'cause they'll be even better when we're heavenly.’” -Mah’s Joint, Jon Bellion
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
This is an extremely hard question... nearly impossible for music-lovers. But if I really had to choose, it would be Translations Through Speakers by Jon Bellion. It was the first album he produced, and it is so humble and real, not to mention they are quality car songs. Luckily, all of his music since then has been just as raw and genius.
