Auburn guards Bryce Brown and Jared Harper were named Preseason All-SEC by league coaches Tuesday.
There were 16 players placed on All-SEC teams, with eight on the first team and eight on the second team. Both Brown and Harper were placed on the second All-SEC team.
Along with All-SEC honors, the Tigers backcourt also earned more preseason honors.
Brown was named to the 2019 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award Watch List and Harper was among the 20 point guards selected for the 2019 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award Watch List.
In addition to leading Auburn to a share of the SEC regular season title last season, both players were voted All-SEC.
Brown earned first team votes from the Associated Press and second team votes from league coaches. Harper earned second team votes from the AP and league coaches.
As a team, the Tigers are predicted to finish third in the SEC this season, which is their highest predicted finish since 1999 when they were expected to win the SEC.
