Auburn's Deshaun Davis has been named a quarter-finalist for the Lott Impact Trophy. Davis has been a impact player for Auburn and one of the leaders of the most feared defenses in the nation. Davis has recorded 59 tackles this season for 8.5 tackles for loss (career high) and one sack.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy has named 20 defensive players as quarter-finalists for the annual award, now in its 15th season. The announcement was made by the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation in Newport Beach, CA.
Voting for the winner and finalists will take place in November and the 15th annual awards banquet will be held Dec. 9 at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach.
